I met my wife through online dating, and you're way cooler than I am, so I'm sure you'll do fine. My advice is to put unflattering photos of yourself up there. I went with one where I'm looking down while taking a picture so I had a double chin, and I took it right before a badly needed haircut. This way, I looked a lot better when I met people in person. Everyone I went on a date with specifically said I looked better than in my photos.
haha I'm so not cool, but thanks. And I totally agree with the picture thing. My photo now is pretty flattering and it kind of stresses me out lol. I just made sure to include a few different ones and two from far away so hopefully I don't have to deal with anyone being disappointed. Most of the guys I've met have been better looking then their pictures and it's always nice.My problem is I'm not looking for anything serious so it makes it a little more difficult sometimes (surprisingly).
Actually, I understand that last bit. I've found there's not actually all that many guys (decent ones anyway) who don't want long-term relationships. If only you lived in TV land, you would be swimming in casual requests. But I get the logic on your end. Why buy the pig when you can get some sausage for free?
haha I don't have a problem getting offers. They're just often from people I'm not sure I want anything to do with.A lot of people in Utah are super intense about relationships though and I can't deal with that. I'm always worried someone will try to make me fit in their box just because they want something long term instead of things progressing naturally. Eh. It'll work itself out eventually.
If I were near Utah.... ;-)
